RFI Is Now Formally Accredited By EMVCo

25th May 2010 – Basingstoke, UK - RFI Global Services Ltd today announced the formal extension of its security evaluation capabilities.

RFI is pleased to formalise this EMVCo SEWG accreditation because this also enables RFI to formally become accredited for Visa Chip Security Program (VCSP) and MasterCard Compliance Assessment and Security Testing (CAST) security evaluation services for products supporting Visa and MasterCard applications.
 
These formal accreditations are an important milestone for RFI and also to the smart card and mobile industry. These reinforce the value of RFI’s service One-Stop-Shop offering for the benefit of smart card and mobile manufacturers all over the world.
 
Technology convergence is today a reality, and RFI is at the forefront as actively participating in commercial projects where wireless and contactless communication interfaces, are being used to deliver mobile payment, smart media transportation and biometric applications.
