What are global approvals?

Before you can market an electronic product in various regions of the world, different approvals are required depending on which geographies you plan to market to.

Different geographies have strict requirements (most notably FCC approval for USA and CE approval for Europe), and industry specific regulations for wireless products (most notably Bluetooth and Cellular). We can help you navigate the complex rules and regulations by advising on the global approvals needed for the geographic areas you want to market in. Our experts have a depth of experience in this area and will ensure you are covered for all regulations.

We specialise in wireless devices of all types, especially cellular (GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 3G, LTE), microwave, Bluetooth and other short range devices. How can RFI help?

We can manage the complete approval process on your behalf, to enable the product to be released anywhere in the world. We arrange the testing of the product and work with you to fix any issues until you pass the approvals required. We can test in-house under a huge range of standards, both government and industry specific, and produce reports to customer specifications. We are also a Notified Body under the EMC and R&TTE Directives which means that we can issue the CE mark, and also a Telecommunication Certified Body (TCB) for the FCC. In addition, we can arrange certification in other countries through our partner network.
